 History and Evolution of Film

Lumière brothers, ( Auguste Lumière b. October 19 1862, and his brother Louis Lumière b. October 5, 1864 )

The first motion-picture camera and projector, known as the Cinématographe, were created by French innovators and pioneering makers of photography equipment. They produced the 1895 motion picture La Sortie des ouvriers de l'usine Lumière, often known as "Workers Leaving the Lumière Factory," which is regarded as the "first motion picture." Louis worked on the issue of developing film in a way that was commercially viable; by the age of 18, he had achieved such great success that, with his father's financial assistance, he founded a factory for making photographic plates, which was an instant success. Around 15 million plates per year were being produced by the Lumières by 1894. The history of cinema began on December 28, 1895, when a screening at the Grand Café on the boulevard des Capucines in Paris received a resounding public ovation.
